French Camp Farms - Let's Take A Ride  

 

French Camp Farms offers many opportunities to learn about horses, interact with horses, ride, groom, and hone your horse skills of riding and maintaining the horses. If competition is what you want, we are happy to help you develop your skills for showing, riding, or vaulting. We want you to be successful with whatever level of interest you have. Come on, let's take a ride.

Current Needs List

 

  • Fencing Materials (t-posts, barbed wire, barbless wire, fence clips, fencing staples, fencing pliers, t-post puller, solar powered electric fence charger for horses - 15 mile)
  • 4x4 Side-by-side with a dump bed - $13,500.00
  • 65 gallon 7-nozzle UTV Sprayer (pasture maintenance) - $1,000.00
  • 5 truck loads of arena sand - $400/load
  • 4 horses no older than 12 but younger is better - at least green broken to be trained for trails
  • 2 performance horses - any western discipline - for 4-H students to learn to ride and show
  • 2 rubbermaid stock tanks - 150 gal each - $200 each
  • 2 competition barrel saddles - 13" & 14"
  • Performance show boots for speed horses-matching front boots only - $90 a pair
  • 10 Western saddle pads - $90 a piece
  • 12' or 16' livestock gates - $140-$200 per gate
  • Tractor jack
  • Funding to clear 10 acres of land to increase grazing area to support herd need.
  • Funding for feed, hay, farrier services, veterinary services, building maintenance materials, arena maintenance materials.
